Finding people that excel in their field of excellence has been a driving force for me in partnering with Phil, he is
without out doubt the guy you want in your camp when it comes to Defensive Handgun, Defensive Carbine and
Defensive Shotgun training & certification. I was lucky enough to get some training in with Phil (click: on pictures
on right handside), when I was working with a client in Texas and straight away saw the potential for a great
partnership. Phil is an active duty police officer licensed in the USA by the State of Texas as a Police Firearms
Instructor and Concealed Handgun Instructor; teaching since 1995 to thousands of satisfied customers. Phil is
certified in several disciplines of self defense as a police instructor such as defensive tactics, pepper spray and
impact weapons.
So it seemed like a natural extension for delivering the Defiance Combat Flinch Response Self Defense Training
System™
Foundation level certification
Phil Ryan is looking to host the Defiance Combat F.R.A.C.T System© Foundation Certification in
2012 in Mckinney, Texas.
Who is Phil Ryan?
Phil Ryan is a former United State Marine and now a police officer, Police Firearms Instructor, Glock Police Instructor and
licensed Concealed Handgun Instructor. Phil Ryan has been teaching concealed handgun classes since November 1995, a
Texas Peace Officer since 1993 and a licensed Police Instructor and Police Firearms Instructor since 1995. Phil is currently
a full time police officer in Collin County and has been with his department since 1995. His current assignments include Patrol Division
Sergeant / Supervisor, Field Training Supervisor and Department Firearms Instructor.
Where is the training?
USA, McKinney, Texas which is approximately 40 minutes from Dallas and Dallas/Fortworth Texas (DFW). There are a separate classroom
facilities, the range is located 10 minutes from the classroom on a private ranch. The range is DPS approved and used by several local
law enforcement agencies.
When is the certification course in the USA?
We hope dates will be confirmed for 2012.
